Salary: £25.000-£26.000 Location: Preston
Are you a Home Care Manager or Care Coordinator looking for a new challenge?
We currently have an opportunity for somebody with a good solid back ground in home care, some management and supervisory experience and heaps of ambition to lead a brand new team in the Preston area.
Following success in other areas of the country, this company will be launching a brand new service in the area, giving you the opportunity to be a founding member of the team and to really be able to influence the direction it takes going forward.
You will start with a team of 20 carers, as well as some office support staff. Your role will involve the recruitment, selection and induction of care staff, arranging their rotas and providing professional supervision.
This role has as much potential as you create. You will be going in at the start of the project, the foundations are there, and if you push to succeed you will see the rewards.
In order to be suitable for this role you will need to have home care experience, along with at least 1 years experience in a supervisory role. NVQ level 3 as a minimum, but preference will be given to those with the level 5 leadership and management qualification, or those working towards it.
Due to the nature of this role, if you do not hold an enhanced DBS check which is registered with the online update service, you will be required to undergo a new check prior to starting.
